Occupational Therapy

Our Occupational Therapy team provides personalised, evidence-based support to help children, adults and older people live safely, independently and meaningfully across the NDIS and Aged Care.

Home Modifications

Assessment and recommendations for minor and complex home modifications to improve accessibility, safety and independence within the home. This may include grab rails, ramps, accessible bathrooms and other tailored solutions.

Vehicle Modifications

Assessment of vehicle access, transfers and transport needs, with recommendations for appropriate vehicle modifications and equipment to support safe travel, improved accessibility and greater independence in the community.

Functional Capacity Assessments

Comprehensive Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA) evaluating Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), functional abilities and support needs, with detailed Occupational Therapy reports and recommendations.

Pressure Care and Pressure Injury Prevention

Assessment of pressure care, positioning and skin integrity risks, with recommendations for appropriate seating, cushions, mattresses and positioning strategies to assist with pressure injury prevention.

SIL and SDA Assessments

Comprehensive assessments and reports for Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), considering functional capacity, support needs, safety and housing requirements.

Assistive Technology (AT)

Assessment, trials and prescription of assistive technology and equipment, ranging from everyday aids to complex solutions such as specialised seating, hoists, pressure care equipment, recliner chairs and powered wheelchairs.

Manual Handling Assessments and Training

Individualised manual handling assessments and training to support safe transfers, positioning and personal care, including recommendations and training for families, carers and support workers.

Capacity Building and Therapy

Individualised Occupational Therapy to develop and maintain everyday skills, including self-care, daily routines, fine and gross motor skills, community participation and greater independence.

Physiotherapy

Our Physiotherapy team provides personalised, evidence-based care to improve movement, strength, balance and physical function, supporting adults and older people across NDIS and Aged Care to maintain mobility, prevent falls and live independently.

Capacity Building and Therapy

Individualised Physiotherapy to improve strength, endurance, coordination and physical function. Therapy is tailored to each person's individual abilities and goals, supporting improved mobility, greater independence and participation in meaningful everyday activities.

Balance and Falls Prevention

Assessment and intervention to improve balance, strength, coordination and mobility while reducing the risk of falls. Therapy may include targeted exercises, balance and gait training, and practical strategies to improve safety, confidence and independence at home and in the community.

Mobility Assessments

Comprehensive assessment of walking, balance, transfers and functional mobility to identify areas of difficulty. Recommendations may include targeted therapy, mobility strategies and walking aids to support safer, more efficient and independent movement.

Assistive Technology

Assessment and trial of mobility equipment to support safe and independent movement. This may include walking aids, transfer equipment and other mobility supports, with recommendations tailored to each person’s needs and environment.
